An outbreak of concurrent Aspergillosis and Anatipestifer infection in Babary ducks was investigated. About 24.8 percent of 3,280 one-week-old babaries died, with lesions of focal pneumonia and multiple yellowish-white nodules, 1-4 mm in diameter, in the lung parenchyma. The lesions were also seen in the peritoneal cavity, brain tissue and bursa of Fabricius. Histological examination of lungs and brains revealed granulomas with giant cells. Mycelia elements were demonstrated in the granulomas by periodic acid schiff staining. Aspergillus fumigatus was cultured from the nodules and Pasteurella anatipestifer was isolated from lung tissue.
