BACKGROUND: Concomitant anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL) injuries are among the most commonly reported injury patterns in high-energy knee injuries. Concomitant ACL and MCL reconstruction (ACLR + MCLR) is indicated in patients with full-thickness tears and persistent valgus laxity.

BACKGROUND: Sonic hedgehog (SHH) medulloblastoma is the most common molecular group of infant and early childhood medulloblastoma (iMB) and has no standard of care at relapse. This work aimed to evaluate the post-relapse survival (PRS) and explore prognostic factors of patients with nodular desmoplastic (ND) and/or SHH iMB.

METHODS: This international retrospective study included 147 subjects diagnosed with relapsed ND/SHH iMB between 1995 and 2017, < 6 years old at original diagnosis, and treated without initial craniospinal irradiation (CSI). Univariable and multivariable Cox models with propensity score analyses were used to assess PRS for those in the curative intent cohort.

While a high-MHC class I, immune-inflamed subset benefits from ICB, underlying mechanisms of immune response in SCLC have yet to be elucidated. Blepharospasm (BSP) is characterized by excessive orbicularis oculi muscle activity leading to abnormal blinking and involuntary eyelid closure. Botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT) injections are the main treatment for BSP, but they only partially and transiently relieve symptoms, leading to a waxing and waning therapeutic response. A patient-centered outcome (PCO) tool that measures BSP symptoms in a simple and efficient way could inform the development of better treatments. While excessive production of endothelin 1 (ET-1), a potent vasoconstrictor, is linked to many diseases that increase with age, the role of ET-1 and its receptors in axon regeneration is unknown. BACKGROUND: Readmission following endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal surgery (EETS) for pituitary neuroendocrine tumor (PitNET) and other sellar pathology is most commonly due to delayed hyponatremia. PATIENTS AND METHODS: We conducted a phase I/II single-institution study (NCT03496662) combining chemotherapy gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel (GnP), CCR2/5 inhibitor BMS-813160, and nivolumab for four 28-day cycles for patients with borderline resectable (BR) or locally advanced (LA) PDAC.
