Interval training (IT) is used to improve aerobic capacity and increase tolerance to lactate. Few studies to date have focused on trapping lactate in the muscles during recovery periods of IT, a method called “lactate retention”, or LR. In the United States, several studies have focused on factors that influence women to rapidly repeat pregnancies at the national and state level.
