Introduction. As a major outcome of bariatric surgery, weight loss can be affected by many factors, such as sociodemographic, behavioral problems, genetics, patient status, and the surgical technique. However, limited data were available. This research aimed to seek a correlation between age and BMI with excessive weight loss after bariatric surgery.

Method. Cross–sectional study design from 2 bariatric centers in Jakarta, using data from 2018–2022. Percentage Excessive Weight Loss (%EWL) 3 months was an outcome measurement tool.

Background: Body image dissatisfaction may lead to the practice of imbalanced diet to achieve the desired body weight. This study aimed to determine the association between body image perception and food intake among undergraduate students.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on the data of 155 students from three faculties located at National University of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Assessments included demographic data, body mass index, Contour Drawing Rating Scale, and 3-day food records.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is the sixth highest cause of death in Indonesia. Thus, it must be prevented and overcome with appropriate management. This study aimed to determine the contribution of physiological factors and physical activities to the incidence of T2DM. The study used a cohort retrospective design using secondary data from the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) from 2007 to 2014, which included a sample of 14,517 people involved for more than 20 years. Background: The presence of risk factors have a high risk of developing breast cancer. Our study aimed to find an association between sociodemographic factors and the risk of estrogen receptor (ER)-positive, progesterone receptor (PR)-positive breast cancer among women.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 200 women with breast cancer. Association between sociodemographic factors and hormone receptor subtypes of breast cancer was found using the Chi-square test. Multiple logistic regression analysis was used to know the strong predictors of hormone receptor subtypes.
