Learning Outcome: Participants will be able to describe the steps taken by a team of RDNs to revise a state-wide diet manual and develop a customer focused dissemination plan. State regulations require an approved diet manual in facilities licensed by the Bureau of Facility Standards (BFS). Our state affiliate is responsible for updating the state Diet Manual every five years. The purpose of this project was to 1) gather formative input from users, 2) update the Diet Manual based on evidence-based practice, and 3) create a dissemination plan.
