Childbirth is a very intense and vulnerable experience, especially for first-time mothers. Across the globe, the prevalence of traumatic and unsatisfying births has become an increasingly troublesome issue for women. There is extensive evidence of maltreatment, and a large portion of the problem has to do with the client’s medical team. Exercise is an important lifestyle habit to include in one's daily routine. Remaining physical activity during pregnancy is important. According to the CDC, pregnant women should, “Get at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity during pregnancy and the postpartum period.” (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2021). This paper will encompass a range of topics that highlight the benefits of exercise from a physiological as well as a mental health standpoint. Innovative drug treatments for malaria, optimally with novel targets, are needed to combat the threat of parasite drug resistance. As drug development efforts continue, there may be a role for a host-targeting, repurposed cancer drug administered together with an artemisinin combination therapy that was shown to improve the speed of recovery from a malaria infection.

This study explored the possible adverse outcomes of cell phone use during the prenatal period. Previous literature has lacked in the analysis of all the potential adverse outcomes of cell phone use during pregnancy. This gap in literature, is needed to determine if a reduction in cell phone usage during pregnancy should be recommended in future clinical practices. For my research, I reviewed three published studies that have been done on cell phone use during pregnancy. Type 1 Diabetics have various ways of managing their diabetes that have been studied for their effectiveness. Pregnancy in the Type 1 Diabetic has been understudied. It is known that Diabetics in general have poorer pregnancy outcomes because of poor glycemic control. This coupled with the fact that the body needs 3-4 times more insulin as pregnancy comes to an end makes managing blood glucose levels challenging for diabetics (Lowdermilk, 2016, p. 689). Bed rest is defined as confinement to bed and restriction of activity. In the clinical setting bed rest includes strict bed rest, strict bed rest in Trendelenburg position, bed rest with bathroom privileges, and up ad lib (Irion, Irion, Lewis & Giglio, 2012).
