Background: Clinical problems might result from the structural and morphological changes brought on by lumbar degenerative disc degeneration. The medical costs and lost productivity that result from treating lumbar disc herniation (LDH) are a major burden on families, communities, and nations.Lumbar Discectomy for Prolapsed Intervertebral Disc associated with radicular symptoms in lower limb is probably the most widely performed spinal intervention. Aim: Percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic lumbar discectomy is a less invasive approach for treating LDH, and the purpose of this study is to assess its efficacy. Subject and method: This study was conducted at the neurosurgery department, Ibn Sina hospital …

Background and aim: Homocysteine and adropin effects on endothelial function are antagonistic. The current study aimed to evaluate the association between serum levels of adropin and homocysteine and the severity of coronary artery disease (CAD) . Patients and methods: This cross-sectional study included 86 patients submitted to coronary angiography with ≥ 50% stenosis in one or more coronary arteries. Serum Adropin and homocysteine levels were estimated. The anatomical synergy between percutaneous coronary intervention with taxus and cardiac surgery (SYNTAX) score was utilized to assess the severity of CAD. Results: According to serum homocysteine levels, they were classified into patients with …

Background: A comparatively recent and quickly developing method of resolving human reproductive issues involves externalizing the human ovum with spermatozoa and transporting the generated embryo to the woman's uterus. The 1970s saw the publication of the first findings of implantations and pregnancy after the application of this technology in humans. Since then, the procedures recognized as in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and embryo transfer (ET) have led to multiple pregnancies, new knowledge about gametes interactions, and earlier embryogenesis progress. Unfortunately, compared to the therapy of tubal factor infertility, IVF is typically less effective for treating male factor infertility.

Open Release Of Superficial Medial Collateral Ligament For Arthroscopic Medial Meniscus Surgery In Patient With Tight Medial Compartment, Younis Mahmoud Akl, Mohamed I. Abulsoud, Hussam El-Deen Eid Haffour
Al-Azhar International Medical Journal
Background: Attachment of the posterior root is necessary for the medial meniscus to function and its tears are common. Arthroscopy must be able to see the medial meniscus' posterior horn to repair it. Even an arthroscopy specialist can damage the articular cartilage in tight knee joints with a tiny medial joint space, increasing the risk of knee osteoarthritis. Pie crusting technique needs multiple punctures to open joints. It raises medial joint structure iatrogenic injury risk. Aim of the Work:The purpose of the research was to look for residual laxity of knee following minimally invasive (Mini-Open) Superficial Medial Collateral Ligament (sMCL) …

One of the most common reasons for undergoing in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) is tubal infertility. There is a high prevalence of adnexal injuries that lead to sterility. Some are pathogenic, occurring as a result of pelvic infectious disease that causes tubal blockage and/or hydrosalpinx, or endometriosis.
