Introduction: the objective of this study was to assess the impact of physique on the stride pattern and performance of elite male 400-m hurdles runners. Materials and Methods: this study is based on the analysis of the performance of 297 male 400-m hurdlers in 13 Olympic games, 16 world championships, and 15 European championships. Introduction: Deep stabilization system (DSS) strength and endurance are crucial for injury prevention and athletic performance. Training surfaces can influence training outcomes; therefore, this study aimed to compare the impact of performing strength trunk exercises on unstable and stable surfaces with conventional trunk exercises. Materials and Methods: DSS and trunk stability were assessed before and after 10 weeks of three different training interventions among twenty elite futsal players. Each intervention included 25 strength training sessions. Background:‪The overall purpose of this study is to define differences in the symmetry of stabilizing function of lower limbs in geriatric women compared to younger females. Material and methods:‪The study evaluated 30 female seniors (aged 82.9 ±6.1), 39 female university students (aged 23.3 ±0.4) and 33 girls (aged 7.4 ±0.3). Stability was evaluated using a stabilographic platform CQ Stab (Electronic System), with the subject standing with eyes open. Anova Kruskal-Wallis test and Wilcoxon test were used for the analysis. Background: The back kick (in taekwon-do terminology referred to as dwit chagi) is considered a powerful weapon in taekwon-do sparring. This paper attempts to identify the kinematic factors affecting the efficiency of the back kick on the basis of values obtained for foot and knee velocities and the duration of the kick. Background: The purpose of this study was to determine the type and incidence of injuries among airborne forces paratroopers, and also to analyze the factors that determine the probability of suffering injuries while parachuting. Material and methods: 165 soldiers in active service, from the 6th Airborne Brigade in Cracow, participated in the study. The survey was carried out via the author’s questionnaire. Background: The objective of the study was to assess the effectiveness of a 2-week therapeutic programme consisting of combination therapy and postisometric relaxation and its effect on the mobility of joints and the level of perception of pain in patients with osteoarthritis of hip joints. Material/Methods:The research was carried out on subjects clinically and radiologically diagnosed as patients with osteoarthritis of hip joints. 30 subjects, including 7 men and 23 women (average age of 67.8 yrs), underwent the examinations.
