Background: Acupressure is thought to promote blood flow and the release of neurotransmitters, thereby maintaining the body's regular functions and offering a sense of well-being. Aim of the study: to investigate the prevalence of upper limb musculoskeletal abnormalities and their correlations to glycemic control and associated factors. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted at diabetes unit and internal medicine outpatient clinic at Al-ahrar teaching hospital, Zagazig, Egypt. 200 type 2 diabetic patient (T2DM) and 200 non-diabetic control patients of ages > 18 years were enrolled.
