The Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) is a person-centered assessment tool frequently used to identify occupational problems in older individuals and establish goals for geriatric rehabilitation. This study aims to assess the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of COPM (COPM-TR) in older people.Materials and methods: One hundred older people completed the COPM-TR, and 25 of them participated in a retest within two weeks. Background/aim: Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) cause decreased quality of life due to prolonged hospital stay, loss of workforce, disabilities, psychological trauma, and increased healthcare costs. This study aims to assess the validity and reliability of the Diabetic Foot ScaleShort Form (DFS-SF) for Turkish-speaking individuals with DFUs. Background/aim: Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic immune-mediated disease. Telemedicine is a healthcare technology used when a patient is separated by distance. The reliability of the Pediatric Eosinophilic Esophagitis Symptom Score, version 2.0 (PEESS v2.0) for telemedicine applications, has not been studied yet. Therefore, we aimed to evaluate the reliability of PEESS v2.0 for telemedicine. We aimed to evaluate the interobserver reliability and the intraobserver reproducibility of measurements of volumes and T2 relaxation times of the quadriceps femoris and the hamstring muscles. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional reliability study was conducted on ten recreational athletes. Background/aim: The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the Turkish reliability and validity of the medical outcomes study (MOS) sleep scale in patients who have obstructive sleep apnea. Materials and methods: The data of the study were collected from 120 adult patients with obstructive sleep apnea and from 90 healthy individuals between March 04 and May 31, 2019. Results: The Cronbach's α internal consistency reliability coefficient of the MOS sleep scale was found as 0.82. The test-retest reliability was acceptable (r = 0.76-0.94). Background/aim: The aim of this study is to evaluate the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of the Vocal Fatigue Index (VFI). Materials and methods: The study was conducted with 535 participants including 285 patients with voice disorders and 250 healthy controls. Internal consistency and test-retest reliability were calculated for the reliability analysis. The mean VFI factor scores of both groups were compared. The Intensive Care Psychological Assessment Tool (IPAT) was developed for this purpose in intensive care units. This study aimed to adapt the Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety and Information Scale (APAIS) to measure the preoperative anxiety of adult Turkish patients undergoing surgery.Materials and methods: The sample of this methodological study included 210 patients. Data were collected by using personal information forms, the APAIS, and the State Anxiety Scale (STAI). Cronbach's ∝-coefficient was calculated, and test-retest reliability was tested. Background/aim: The most important issues in elder abuse and neglect are lack of awareness and difficulties in determining the situation. Our aim is to determine the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of the Hwalek-Sengstock Elder Abuse Screening Test (H-S/EAST).Materials and methods: The H-S/EAST (15-itemed, three-dimensional: direct abuse, characteristics of vulnerability, and potentially abusive situation) was translated according to the guidelines and experts evaluated it for content validity and cultural adaptation. Background/aim: The test your memory (TYM) is reported to be a sensitive cognitive function assessment scale for people with dementia. The aim of the present study was to investigate the reliability and validity of an adapted Turkish version of the TYM (TYM-TR) among Turkish dementia patients. Materials and methods: The TYM-TR was given to 59 patients with dementia aged 60+ and 336 normal controls aged 23-75+. Aim: In contrast to the one-sided evaluation methods used in the past, combining multiple tests allows one to obtain a global assessment of the ankle joint. Materials and Methods: Twenty healthy male volunteers participated in this study. One component of the test battery included five different functional ability tests, which included: single limb hopping course, one-legged and triple-legged hop for distance, and six-meter (6-m) and cross 6-m hop for time.
