Extracorporeal blood purification (EBP) therapies have shown promise as potential rescue treatments for patientswith septic shock. However, precise evidence regarding their effectiveness is lacking. The primary aim was to determine the independent risk factors for 28-day mortality. Materials and Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, critically ill patients (≥ 18 years) who were admitted to the intensive care unit due to COVID-19 were included. Materials and methods: The study included 110 patients recruited from an anesthesia critical care unit of a university hospital.
