BACKGROUND: As athletic trainers (ATs) educators and professionals we recognize the importance of preparing our students to practice as part of an interprofessional team and acknowledge that this training must begin while they are in the academy. Although there is lots of information about interprofessional education (IPE) in various other healthcare professions (HCPs), there is limited information about how AT educators are infusing IPE into the curriculum. Background. Contemporary literature indicates that there is significant support and assistance provided by schools for young autistic people, which has had a positive impact on the accessibility of jobs. Nevertheless, the employment rate of autistic people is unacceptably low in the UK. The current study investigated teachers’ views on the preparation for employment of young autistic people in the UK. Methods. Purpose: The social distancing mandates instituted during COVID-19 pandemic mark the sudden transition in the mode of dental education’s delivery to the virtual instruction. It is vital to assess students’ perceptions towards virtual learning environments, particularly among those gaining education in resource-strained countries. This cross-sectional study aims to assess the perceptions of dental undergraduates towards online education, environment and transferable skills and patient care during COVID-19 in India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Background: Plagiarism is one of the most common violation of publication ethics, and it still remains an area with several misconceptions and uncertainties.
Methods: This online cross-sectional survey was conducted to analyze plagiarism perceptions among researchers and journal editors, particularly from non-Anglophone countries.
Results: Among 211 respondents (mean age 40 years; M:F, 0.85:1), 26 were scholarly journal editors and 70 were reviewers with a large representation from India (50, 24%), Turkey (28, 13%), Kazakhstan (25, 12%) and Ukraine (24, 11%). The purpose of this presentation is to describe a novel program faculty designed automated academic and professional behaviors student tracking system in select programs at three campuses of the University of St Augustine for Health Sciences.
The automated tracking systems streamlined and served to improve both faculty and student understanding of both academic and professional behavior performance, across three programs and three campuses at this multi campus university Early detection of performance insufficiencies was critical to changing performance and behavior.
