Investigation Of Igg, Vimentin, Cd45 Distribution, And Density In Mouse Placenta Atdifferent Periods Of Pregnancy, Seçi̇l Koç, Şadi̇ye Kum
Turkish Journal of Veterinary & Animal Sciences
The aim of this study was to investigate the distribution and density of IgG, vimentin, and CD45 in mouse placenta on the fourth, tenth, and seventeenth days of pregnancy. Strept avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex (streptABC) staining method was used. On the fourth day of pregnancy, the expression of IgG, vimentin, and CD45 was more intense around the uterine glands. On the tenth day, IgG, vimentin and CD45 positive cells were demonstrated in decidua basalis and mesometrial parietal trophoblast giant cells (P-TGCs) and mesometrial lymphocyte groups (MLAp) portions. The formation of the placenta was completed on the seventeenth day of pregnancy. The expression …

The current study was conducted to determine the morphological, morphometric, and histological characteristics of bulbus oculi and lacrimal gland in sheep. For this purpose, 28 pairs (n = 7 males and n = 7 females) of bulbus oculi from Morkaraman and (n = 7 males and n = 7 females) Norduz sheep were analyzed. The bulbus oculi in the skulls were dissected from the orbit and removed. The morphometric data such as distance between endpoints of the dissected bulbus oculi in temporal, nasal, and dorsal directions, the length between endpoints of the pupil in dorsal and ventral directions, and as …

A sixty-day feeding trial was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary effective microorganisms (EM) Bokashi on organ histology, growth performance, and survival rate of freshwater crayfish Pontastacus leptodactylus (Eschscholtz, 1823). Bokashi serum and powder consisted of two major microorganisms as Bacillus amyloliquefaciens spp. plantarum and Lactobacillus plantarum. Four treatment groups were established in control (without bokashi), bokashi powder 1% and 5% supplemented to diets. Bokashi serum was added at a ratio of 0.01% (v/v) of the total volume of the tank water once a week into which there was a constant flow of fresh water at a flow rate …
