Two protein portions from Datura inhibiting the multiplication of PVY “were obtained by filtration through sephadex G - 100. The first was maintained its activity at 60 с for 10 min; whereas the other lost its activity at this temp. The SDS- polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of the heat resistant one revealed the presence of 8 polypeptides with molecular weights; 12000 , 13000 , 22000 , 25000 , 29000 , 40000 and two other of smaller molecular weights . No serological reaction was ovserced between these proteins and the antiserum of PVA, PVS, PVM, PVX and PVY. No precipitate was observed …
