Se describe e ilustra Polytuberotum metachroma Pineda y Cid-Arcos gen. nov. y sp. nov. (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) proveniente de Perú. El nuevo género es fácilmente distinguible de Tuberolamia Breuning por su frente transversa y pronoto con espinas laterales y protuberancias discales.

Polytuberotum metachroma Pineda and Cid-Arcos gen. nov. and sp. nov. (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) from Peru is described and illustrated. The new genus is easily distinguished from Tuberolamia Breuning by its transverse frons and pronotum with lateral spines and discal protuberances.

The New World genus Chariessa Forster (Coleoptera: Cleroidea: Cleridae) is revised and includes C. catalina Opitz, new species, C. elegans Horn, C. dichroa (LeConte), C. floridana Schaeffer, C. pilosa (Forster), C. texana Wolcott, C. ramicornis Perty, C. vestita (Chevrolat), and C. duponti (Spinola). Enoplium pilosa var. marginata Say is synonymized with Chariessa pilosa Forster. Lectotypes are designated for C. pilosa (Forster), C. ramicornis Perty, and C. vestita (Chevrolat). Available information indicates that Chariessa adult and immature individuals are predatory on lignicolous insects with a particular affinity for cerambycids and buprestids that infest species of oak. Una nueva especie del género Eugnosta Hübner, E. lankinae n.sp. (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae), es descrita para la Provincia de Elqui, Chile. Se entregan los caracteres morfológicos del adulto y las fi guras de la genitalia masculina. Además se discute su posición sistemática con dos especies congéneres Neotropicales.

A new species of the genus Eugnosta Hübner, E. lankinae n.sp. (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae), is described from the Elqui Province in Chile. Male adult morphology, including genitalia, are fi gured. The systematic position in relation to two closely related Neotropical species is discussed.

A synopsis of the Phycitinae (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) of Chile is presented. It includes a systematic list with distribution data. Inverina suizensis Neunzig and Goodson, 1992, is recorded from Chile for the fi rst time, and a new species of the genus Homoeographa Ragonot, 1888, is described.

We describe a new butterfl y species, Anaeomorpha mirifica Simon and Willmott, n. sp. (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae, Charaxinae), from premontane rain forest of the Chocó region of northwestern Ecuador. This represents the second known species and the first record outside of the Amazon basin for this taxonomically and biologically enigmatic genus. Although the two species are not known to be sympatric, we identified 21 characters in the external color pattern, wing shape and male genitalia that together support distinct species status. Se describe una nueva especie de Autostichidae, Eraina beechei nov. sp., a partir de ejemplares recolectados en la precordillera andina de la Provincia de Ñuble, Región del Biobío. Se presentan caracteres de diagnóstico para la especie; se entregan fotografías del adulto, ilustraciones de las estructuras genitales del macho y de la hembra, y una clave para la determinación de las especies del género Eraina.
