A faunal and taxonomic study on the family Buprestidae (Coleoptera) was carried provinces of Artvin (Central, Ardanuç, Borçka, Hopa, Şavşat and Yusufeli), Erzincan (Central, Tercan and Üzümlü), Erzurum (Central, Aşkale, Çat, Horasan, Ilıca, İspir, Narman, Oltu, Olur, Pasinler, Pazaryolu, Şenkaya, Tortum and Uzundere) and Kars (Digor and Sarıkamış) in 1993-1997. A total of 38 species were recorded belonging to 6 subfamilies, namely Sphenopterinae (7 species), Chalcophorinae (8), Chrysobothrinae (3), Agrilinae (17), Cylindromorphinae (2) and Trachyinae (1). Freshwater Isopod Species (Crustacea) Of Turkish Thrace And Their Distribution, Belgi̇n Çamur Eli̇pek, Ti̇mur Kirgiz

This study was undertaken to determine the freshwater Isopod fauna of Turkish Thrace. Samples were collected during the years 1985-1987, 1989-1992 and 1994-1997. According to the results, Asellus (Asellus) aquaticus(L.) Racovitza, Asellus (Asellus) hilgendorfiBovallius, Asellus (Proasellus) infirmus Birstein belonging to the genus Asellus of the Asellidae family and Jaera (Jaera) sarsi Valkanov belonging to the genus Jaeraof the Janiridae family were determined. Of the species, Asellus (Asellus) hilgendorfi Bovallius, Asellus (Proasellus) infirmus Birstein and Jaera (Jaera) sarsi Valkanov are new records for Turkey. The worldwide distributions of these species are included.

A faunal and taxonomic study on the family Buprestidae (Coleoptera) was conducted in the provinces of Artvin (Central, Ardanuç, Borçka, Hopa, Şavşat and Yusufeli), Erzincan (Central, Tercan and Üzümlü), Erzurum (Central, Aşkale, Çat, Horasan, Ilıca, İspir, Narman, Oltu, Olur, Pasinler, Pazaryolu, Şenkaya, Tortum and Uzundere) and Kars (Digor and Sarıkamış) in 1993-1997. A total of 46 species and subspecies were recorded belonging to 3 subfamilies, namely Acmaeoderinae (12 species), Polycestinae (1) and Buprestinae (33). Of these taxa, Acmaeodera (s.str.) transcaucasica Semenov, Dicerca (s.str.) chlorostigma Mannerheim, Anthaxia (Haplanthaxia) truncata Abeille de Perrin and Acmaeoderella (Carininota) flavofasciata albifrons (Abeille de Perrin) are …
