This bibliography has resulted from an initial suggestion by Sargay Timofeev in the March 1990 newsletter of The Chaetognath Group, whose coordinator (Helga Kapp) further suggested that I be given the task. Both are forgiven. The eventual size of the task was unsuspected at its beginning in the fall of 1990; bibliographies are easily begun but decisions on their limits and conclusion are difficult. I have attempted to include all major and substantive works on the Chaetognatha.
