The importance of function properties of edible nuts in inhibiting and decreasing of arteriosclerosis and cancer, and high consumption of these products in Iran, causes that this study investigates some functional properties of oils which are obtained from walnut, almond and pistachio in identified varieties of Damavand, C.V.B12 and Ahmad aghaee with 4% superiority, respectively. Studied factors were indication and measurement of phenolic and tocopherolic compounds by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), determination of oil oxidative stability in 110 0C, 120 0C and 130 0C by rancimat method, and identification fatty acid profile by Gas chromatography. Results showed that phenolic …

The Effects of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) pieces and different storage conditions on fatty acids profile and some quality factors in three types of commercial oils, namely sunflower oil, canola oil, and blended oil containing sunflower oil, soy bean oil, and cottonseed oil were studied. Fatty acid profile and quality factors such as peroxide value, free fatty acids, and iodine value and induction period before and after storage of samples at 25 and 45°C for 20 and 60 days in the presence or absence of PET pieces were investigated. Results showed that the amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids like linoleic acid …

Migration of compounds from packaging materials is one of the most important aspects of food safety. The main purpose of this study is determination and quantification of migrated BADGE and its derivatives in canned tuna fishes by a rapid HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) method with fluorescence detector. Samples have been collected from Iran’s market by PMS method (Post Marketing Service) from different regions of Iran. Migrated compounds were extracted with methanol then analyzed by a HPLC system. This method can detect the amount of BADGE and its derivatives in low concentration. Whereas detection limit for BADGE.2H2O was detected in …

Among the different methods for pasteurization of foodstuff, non thermal methods include electromagnetic method has received more attention, Because of significant reducing in total count of Bacteria, preventing from spoilage and increasing shelf life of foodstuffs. In this study yolk liquid was pasteurized by using electromagnetic method in 3 different frequencies (2950-3950-4500 MHz) for constant time of 12 sec (6 sec of second pulse) and then results were compared with samples which were pasteurized at 65 C for 120 sec and control samples, after different times of storage(1,3,5,8,10 and 15 days). Results showed that used electromagnetic waves had significant effect …

In this study, pesticide residues in tomato products from Shahr-e-Rey farms were measured and investigated by QuEChERS modified method. This method was on the base of the sample preparation in few steps and high speed. Measurement of pesticide residues was carried out by gas chromatograph with electron capture detector. In this study, most of the pesticides showed a recovery in the range of 70% – 120%. Limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) for all pesticides were lower than 0.50 and 1.90 μg/kg respectively. chlorpyrifos was detected in studied samples at average concentration 3.22 μg/kg, which was lower …

Evaluation On Leaf Proline Amount In Three Bread Wheat Cultivars In Presence Of Two Fertilizers Containing Amino Acids In Drought Stress, Amin Mousavi Khaneghah Mr
Amin Mousavi Khaneghah
To study leaf proline amount in presence of two fertilizers containing amino acids in drought stress on three bread wheat cultivars, a research was conducted in Ardabil IAU Research Center in 2012. To achieve this, factorial experimental design based on completely randomized block design was used. Factor A in six conditions (normal, aminol forte and fosnutren, drought, drought + aminol forte, drought + fosnutren) and factor B included three wheat genotypes (Kuhdasht, Cross Sabalan and Chmran). Results showed that there is a significant difference between The solutions on leave proline at 1 percent. Also, there was a significant difference between …
