Corporate boardrooms sit at the heart of most of society’s most consequential decisions but fall far short of the diversity of our society. The current movement toward board diversification aims to remedy the underrepresentation of marginalized groups on corporate boards. More recently, some efforts have included LGBTQ+ people, even though the basis for their inclusion on corporate boards remains largely unstated. This Article examines both the normative and instrumental bases for LGBTQ+ inclusion in board diversity initiatives, articulating unspoken assumptions and linking LGBTQ+ people to the broader inclusion effort. Negotiation can take many forms and have different structures; however, I propose that establishing meetings between each states' leaders of their energy and environmental governmental bodies along with members of The Permanent Indus Commission, as they have dealt with similar concerns, would be the most beneficial and efficient method of resolving water use disputes. In Part II, I introduce relevant background information and examples of water use treaties and agreements that have proven to be successful either at maintaining or encouraging cooperation between various states. Part III will look into each state's current legislation and entities that manage water resources. …

Since India and Pakistan’s independence in 1947, both states have fought over the occupied territories of Kashmir to gain control of water supplies, which are strategically valuable. Even in recent times, the countries are facing constant threats from each other over several separate issues. This Article sets out to examine the potential for arbitration to be effectively employed by states in the resolution of transboundary freshwater disputes. Part II will describe the unique nature of TFDs, briefly examine the international law principles governing such disputes as well as the main mechanisms used for their resolution, and evaluate their adequacy. Part III will suggest a new approach to interstate arbitration, intended to ‘revive’ it in the context of TFD resolution. At the international level, water is now understood to be a basic human right. However, conflict continues to intensify surrounding indigenous people's access to water as the resource becomes scarcer. In particular, this paper will examine the struggle of indigenous people in Latin America and the creation of the Latin American Water Tribunal (LAWT) as a solution. Section II will describe the LAWT, including the formation of the tribunal, case selection, and the structure of the public hearing.
