The inauguration of the American Institute of Law promises a very important advance into new fields of legal education. The movement was started some months ago by the American Law Book Company. The manual which follows has been prepared for the use of students in law schools and other institutions of learning. The design has been to present succinctly the general principles of constitutional law, whether they pertain to the federal system, or to the state system, or both.
