In the paper discusses the results of experimental studies of the stress-strain state of the soil around the walls of the borehole under axisymmetric loading. Analytical expressions are given for determining the soil deformation modulus when tested with a sand pressiometer.

Currently, the laser is a powerful light-emitting diet and is based on the radiation generated by the electron transport of a layer of atomic energy.In article, a heat exchanger is considered in the high-temperature region and the laser radiation in heaters exceeds other heat exchange intensities.

In this article is given the geometric and physical relations for flexible gentle shells, suggests two forms of communication between the deformation of the middle layer and displacements, respectively, the equilibrium equations and the conditions for compatibility of deformation are derived. For a special case, the implementation algorithm and the results of calculating rectangular plates are presented.

In article problems on durability of building constructions are investigated. Using the empirical formula for weight of an arch, under the influence of force, and the extremum theory, critical value of gravity is defined. Further for a homogeneous core which one end is fixed by the hinge, and on the second end force, and depending on a building material and a kind of its form is inserted, there is the greatest value of durability.

The paper gives short analysis of the practical use of strain diagrams in design of reinforced concrete structures. Basic principles to obtain experimental diagrams under simple static, regime and dynamic loading are given along with the conditions they have to meet. Further developments of the diagram methods of design are noted.

The article presents the results of determining in laboratory conditions the coefficient of thermal conductivity of a mixture of polyurethane foam with wood chips and the results of their statistical processing. Based on the results obtained, the calculated values of the thermal conductivity coefficient of the investigated material are recommended, corresponding to operating conditions A and B.
