Theoretical Foundations For Determining Kinematic Parameters Of A Jet Unit, Kudrat Raximov, A.R. Babaev, Dilbar Abduraimova Dec 2019

Theoretical Foundations For Determining Kinematic Parameters Of A Jet Unit, Kudrat Raximov, A.R. Babaev, Dilbar Abduraimova

Journal of Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers

This article discusses the theoretical basis of the dependence of the kinematic parameters, in particular the average speed of flow rate in the suction pipeline of the jet apparatus intended for cleaning water bodies from silting, from changes in the pressure in the mixing chamber. In the problem is considered a single-phase flow, that is, the density of the working and the suction fluid are the same.

Mechanism For Removing Moisture From Deformable Objects During Instant Pressure Release From A Closed System, Sadokat Shonazarovna Abdullaeva, Sadokat Habibullaevna Nishanova, Habibulla Sagdullaevich Nurmukhamedov, Javokhir Valievich Sultanov

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

The article discusses the mechanism of moisture removal during the processing of a deformable material by the method of instant pressure relief. It was revealed that this method allows two processes to be carried out in one device at the same time: cleaning and dehumidification. A strong influence of the pressure relief time t on the intensification of the process was established, the smaller the value of t, the higher the efficiency of both cleaning and moisture removal. The vectors of pressure, temperature, humidity gradients and their directions in each of the periods of processing and their influence on the …

Gis-Based Approach For Sinkhole Occurrence Risk Mitigation In Urban Areas For Historic Wieliczka Salt Mine, Agnieszka Malinowska, Ryszard Hejmanowski Sep 2019

Gis-Based Approach For Sinkhole Occurrence Risk Mitigation In Urban Areas For Historic Wieliczka Salt Mine, Agnieszka Malinowska, Ryszard Hejmanowski

Gorniy vestnik Uzbekistana

The article presents the results of the definition of a new methodology for assessing the risk of flooding a shallow slotted mine, which was carried out on the square above the Wieliczka Salt Mine, which is a world heritage. Vertical stresses are estimated on the basis of the theoretical state of rock mass deformation in the area of test chambers. In addition, the risk for chambers indicated in the zone was calculated based on the theory of arctic pressure. The final stage of the study was spatial analysis, which led to the identification of chambers, potentially subject to the influence …

The Principles Of Increasing The Sensitivity Of Transistor Structures To External Influences, Davron R. Djuraev, Abdulaziz V. Karimov, Dilbara M. Yodgorova, Akmal A. Turaev Jun 2019

The Principles Of Increasing The Sensitivity Of Transistor Structures To External Influences, Davron R. Djuraev, Abdulaziz V. Karimov, Dilbara M. Yodgorova, Akmal A. Turaev

Euroasian Journal of Semiconductors Science and Engineering

This article discusses a multifunctional sensor based on a field-effect transistor with a p-n-junction. The sensor allows to register temperature, light intensity, pressure with high level of sensitivity. At the same time, ensuring the sensitivity of the structure to external influences is practically solved due to constructive changes. Due to constructive solutions, the proposed sensor based on a field-effect transistor greatly exceeds the similar diode structures in sensitivity.

Reconstruction Of Attenuated Hybrid Rocket Motor Chamber Pressure Signals Using Maximum Likelihood Estimation And Optimal Deconvolution, Evan M. Zelesnik May 2019

Reconstruction Of Attenuated Hybrid Rocket Motor Chamber Pressure Signals Using Maximum Likelihood Estimation And Optimal Deconvolution, Evan M. Zelesnik

All Graduate Plan B and other Reports, Spring 1920 to Spring 2023

Chamber pressure, as it develops during rocket combustion, strongly correlates with many of the internal motor ballistics, including combustion stability, fuel regression rate, and mass flow. Chamber pressure is also an essential measurement for calculating achieved thrust coefficient and characteristic velocity. Due to the combustion environment hostility, sensing chamber pressure with high-fidelity presents a difficult measurement problem, especially for solid and hybrid rocket systems where combustion by-products contain high amounts of carbon and other sooty materials. These contaminants tend to deposit within the pneumatic tubing used to transmit pressure oscillations from the thrust chamber to the sensing transducer. Partially clogged …

Chemistry Faculty Publications

The use of small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) for meteorological measurements has expanded significantly in recent years. SUAS are efficient platforms for collecting data with high resolution in both space and time, providing opportunities for enhanced atmospheric sampling. Furthermore, advances in mesoscale weather research and forecasting (WRF) modeling and graphical processing unit (GPU) computing have enabled high resolution weather modeling. In this manuscript, a balloon-launched unmanned glider, complete with a suite of sensors to measure atmospheric temperature, pressure, and relative humidity, is deployed for validation of real-time weather models. This work demonstrates the usefulness of sUAS for validating and improving …

Characterization Of Air Dissolution And Reappearance Under Pressure In Cement Pastes By Means Of Rheology, Daniel Galvez-Moreno, Dimitri Feys, Kyle Riding

Concrete pumping is the most used technique to transfer concrete from the mixer truck to the formwork. Numerous studies have been performed on the flow behavior of concrete in pipes, as well as the consequences of pumping on fluid and hardened concrete properties. One of the negative consequences of pumping concrete is a decrease in freeze-thaw resistance. This is caused by a decrease in air content and an increase in air bubble size, due to dissolution and reappearance of air and air bubble coalescence under pressure. This paper investigates the capability of rheology to understand air dissolution and reappearance in …

EMS personal work hard every day to save lives. A big part of the job is helping to lift people who are notinjured but have fallen and can’t get up by themselves. There are currently no procedures or tools that areconsistently used by EMS in this specific situation. This leads to the response often being ad hoc costing more time, resources, and manpower that can be vital if multiple emergencies happen at the same time. Along with this the job of lifting an individual that is overweight is no easy feat and is one of the primary factors that leads …

Flow Field Analysis Of Pipeline Pig Receiving Trap, Chuanjun Han, Yu Cheng, Xingzhi Duan, Li Qi Jan 2019

Flow Field Analysis Of Pipeline Pig Receiving Trap, Chuanjun Han, Yu Cheng, Xingzhi Duan, Li Qi

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: To study the influence of piping diameter on the flow field characteristics when pig receiving trap is working, the finite element model of pig receiving trap whose type is P6.3MPa DN700/DN600 was established, and the effects of the diameters changes of vent pipe and blow-off pipe were simulated. The effects caused by the pig running speeds on the flow field of the pig receiving trap were studied. The results show that in the pig receiving trap, there is the maximum pressure in the left side of pig staying and the pressure begins to decrease and easy to form swirls …

Dynamic Characteristics Research Of Torsional Vibration Generator, Jialin Tian, Du Fan, Yonghao Zhu, Chuanhong Fu

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: Aiming at poor drill ability and low rate of penetration during the drilling process, a torsional vibration generator is presented. The structure and the operational principle of the torsional vibration generator are analyzed according to the torsional theory. The relationships among the collision frequency, the amount of hydraulic hammer compression, the torque, the inlet pressure, and inlet flow are obtained on the basis of its dynamic model, which is established in light of the actual working condition. Compared with the example calculation, the experimental test verifies the accuracy and reliability of calculation method. The research results show that when the …
