Arsenic content in 39 sources of water intended for human use and consumption from Aguascalientes City Mexico, was measured. All sampled wells exhibited an arsenic concentration lower than 0.05 mg/L; the mean concentration was 0.0145 (0.0077 mg/L. Twenty-four wells (61.54%) presented an arsenic concentration higher than EPA and WHO arsenic standards (0.01 mg/L). Arsenic content and geographical information was used to develop an arsenic isopleth map for Aguascalientes's groundwater The minimum and maximum concentrations were used to estimate arsenic exposure doses by the local population. A study of the concentration of fluoride and arsenic in the drinking water of 39 randomly selected wells in the city of Aguascalientes, and its possible correlation using empiric expressions is reported in this paper. These correlations were obtained when the experimental data were gathered in three categories: wells with a concentration of fluorides between 0.0 and 2.5 mg/l, 2.5 and 4.25 mg/l and 4.25 and 10.0 mg/l. Such empiric expressions modelate the analyzed system with and average error of 11.4%.
