In this paper, questions of determination of the sizes of electrodes of capacity measuring transducers depending on tolerated relative error of measurement are considered. Dependences of ways of laying of grain materials on their electrical conductance are analyzed. It is established that the problem of optimization can be solved by the determined and statistical methods. At the determined method, it is accepted that all particles of the contacting layer with an electrode of bulk materials are located in order. In the article, the static characteristics of thermal converters of liquid materials are investigated for three possible operating modes: - at a constant heating power; - at constant temperature difference; - with discrete switching on and off of the heating element. It is shown: that a simpler and more reliable mode of operation: at a more linear static characteristic occurs at mode.It is shown that the reliability of thermal converters of moisture content in liquid materials in tracking gradual failures, taking into account destabilizing factors, when the error of the converters is not more than.

A manometric method for determining the moisture content of fibrous materials is considered. The scheme and principle of operation of the device. A formula is given for calculating the moisture content of a material. It is emphasized that the two-chamber manometric method for determining the moisture content of materials is an indirect measurement. To determine the measurement result and its uncertainty, it is necessary to justify and choose one of the appropriate methods for determining the measurement results and assess their uncertainty - the linearization method or the reduction method. The question of development and calculation of construction of a coaxial and cylindrical form of the capacity transformer of a humidity meter is considered. As basic data, the sizes and the materials ditches allowing to measure the humidity of different volumes of bulks from 5 to 50 gr are selected. Thermal systems with distributed heat sources based on a pipeline segment with radial holes are proposed for the development of designs of thermal humidity converters for liquid materials. Across the liquid flow there are tubular arguments with cylindrical heat-sensitive elements, on the surface of which the heating element winding was wound, which significantly increased their sensitivity, speed, reliability and allowed the use of standard semiconductor heat-sensitive elements.
