A reproducible, reliable, and highly efficient synthetic approach was implemented for synthesis of palladium nanoparticles supported on a binary composite of Fe3O4 and graphene (Pd-Fe3O4/G). This unique catalyst was tested for being used as a highly efficient active catalyst for being used in Suzuki cross – coupling reactions. It was found that this graphene supported Pd/Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Pd-Fe3O4/G) has a remarkable catalytic activity towards Suzuki coupling reactions. This catalyst could be recycled for up to three times with high catalytic activity. In this paper, the aim was finding the most efficient corrosion inhibitor for mild steel placed in a 0.5M Sulfuric acid. The comparison was implemented between Cysteine (an eco-friendly corrosion inhibitor) and 4 different Ions-Cysteine Inhibitors (Copper- Cysteine, Nickel-Cysteine, Iron-Cysteine, and Cobalt-Cysteine). The solutions were prepared and evaluated while placed with a working electrode of mild steel with a copper rod attached to its end. Glassy carbon (GC) electrode is intended to be modified with nickel oxide (NiOx) and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) in the anodic reaction of water electrolysis. NiOx deposition time is optimized and a 5 min was enough to attain the maximum activity. A further modification of the catalyst with MWCNTs could greatly enhance its stability during continuous electrolysis. As an outcome, an energy amount of 21.7 kWh/KgO2 is minimized. Several electrochemical and materials characterization setups will be utilized to test the catalyst activity and to know its geometry and structure.

Manganese oxide (MnOx) and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) are intended to modify the GC electrode for oxygen evolution reaction (OER). Optimization of MnOx loading is carried out and the deposition of 55 cycles was sufficient to obtain the highest activity toward OER. The stability of the catalyst is enhanced by the addition of MWCNTs. As a result, an amount of 22 kWh/Kg of O2 of energy is saved. In this research, we report a simple, versatile, and reproducible method for the synthesis of copper oxide nanoparticles via microwave assisted synthesis approach. The important advantage of this catalyst is due to its important role not only in the low temperature oxidation of CO but also in potential applications in pharmaceutical and fine chemical synthesis. We report here a reliable green method for the synthesis of palladium nanoparticles supported on copper oxide as a highly active and efficient catalyst for Suzuki cross-coupling reaction. The experimental synthetic approach is based on microwave-assisted chemical reduction of an aqueous mixture of palladium and copper salt simultaneously using hydrazine hydrate as reducing agent. The catalyst was fully characterized using various techniques showing well-dispersed palladium nanoparticles. The partial oxidation of ethane to acetic acid on a multi-component Mo16V6.37Nb2.05Pdx oxide catalyst supported on Degussa P25 titania has been investigated. The catalyst was characterized using BET surface area, X ray diffractometer (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The reaction was carried out in a differential reactor in a temperature range of 200-275°C and at a total pressure of 200 psi. The study is based on a rigorous mathematical model which can predict the performance of nanoporous selective surface flow (SSF) carbon membrane. The partial oxidation of ethane to ethylene and acetic acid on supported MoVNbPd/TiO2 (P25 of Degussa) has been investigated. Pd was added in a nano-metallic form. The catalyst composition was also different from similar studied catalysts. This results in a better selectivity towards acetic acid formation. The reaction was carried out in a tubular reactor at temperature range 225–275 °C, total pressure range 0–200 psig and oxygen percentage in the feed gas of 10–40%.
