The gas content of coal reservoir is the core parameter of coalbed methane production. There is an error between the measured gas content and the real gas content of coal reservoir. In this paper, based on the gas production of Haishiwan coalbed methane wells in different periods and the decrease of the "constant volume" of the gas content of coal reservoirs, the real-time gas content of coal reservoirs is inverted, and the change rule of the real-time gas content in the process of coalbed methane well drainage is explored. The coal seams of Leping Formation in Junlian area are high-rank coal reservoir with low porosity and low permeability. The gas production of some coalbed methane wells decreases rapidly in the production process, which seriously restricts the benefit development of coalbed methane wells. Combined with the production data such as drainage, hydrochemistry and pump inspection, this paper analyzes the reasons for the decline of gas production. The main reasons for the decline are coal scaling and coal fines blockage. Targeted measures such as acid pickling, hydraulic shock, plasma pulse and water injection are carried out to remove the blockage. The …

In order to find out the geochemical characteristics and origins of coalbed methane(CBM)in Baode area, coal, CBM and water samples were collected, gas component analysis, quality detection of CBM well-produced water and stable isotope analysis were carried out. The results show that CH4 is the main hydrocarbon gas in CBM composition and its volume fraction ranges from 88.60% to 97.59%; a small amount of ethane is contained, and the volume fraction is only 0.01%-0.14%. The drying coefficient is greater than 0.99, the CBM belongs to the extremely dry CBM. The non-hydrocarbon components mainly contain CO2 and N2 …

The "double low" rate of exploration and utilization of CBM resources in China leads to a significant slowdown in CBM production, which has become a bottleneck restricting the development of CBM industry in China.
