Abstract: Natural disasters may unpredictably disrupt ground communication infrastructure and transportation systems, and UAVs emergency response can deal with such uncertainties and highly dynamic scenarios. Aiming at the robustness requirements of decentralized rescue systems. UAV emergency rescue chain (UERChain) based on blockchain technology is proposed. By deploying UAV backbone nodes within a layered local network, the smart contracts for managing reputation considering UAV social relationships are designed. The blockchain is employed as a trust mechanism to realize the trustworthy interactions among distributed UAVs. Abstract: An improved SABAS is proposed to improve the safety and path smoothing of UAV missions in urban multi-obstacle environments and to obtain the shortest path. The algorithm no longer completely depends on the difference of odor concentration between the left and the right tentacles of beetle when exploring the path for position update. Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency and quality of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) substation inspection, a hierarchical motion planning method for UAV inspection based on front-end path search and back-end trajectory generation is proposed. At the front end, an improved A* algorithm is proposed to increase the planning speed and reduce the path turnings by constraining the direction of node expansion and modifying the heuristic function. Abstract: Focusing on the uncertainty in the UAV trajectory planning, combined with the artificial potential energy method, a UAV trajectory planning method based on polynomial chaos expansion (PCE), which can also efficiently obtain the optimal parameters of the model based on artificial potential field method is proposed. The PCE proxy model is established, and the stochastic collocation method is used to quickly solve the problem, so as to avoid the insufficient computing resources. Abstract: In order to address the problem of cooperative task assignment for multiple UAVs, a parallel simulation framework was proposed for cooperative task planning based on HLA/RTI simulation through UAV aerodynamic simulations and flight control simulation, which could be more real and effective algorithm validation. The paths were optimized to account for randomization and threats in the environment by modeling the probability of UAV loss. Abstract: To enhance the safety in case of engine flameout failure, a new type of UAV takeoff decision based on neural network capacity model was proposed. Two capacity parameters of takeoff safety in case of engine flameout failure were defined, one is the maximum velocity for a safe takeoff and the other is the minimum velocity for a safe shut down. Abstract: The considered hexrotor is a symmetric VTOL-UAV with six rigid mono-directional propellers, and the interval between each propeller is 60°. In order to overcome the inherent geometric singularity of Euler angle description, quaternion representation was used to model. The effect of gyroscopic torques and reactive torques was taken into account when simplifying our model. An approach for hexrotor was proposed in which two nearly equivalent control laws were used to obtain asymptotic stability of attitude angles and attitude angular velocity of the hexrotor UAV. Simulation results emphasize the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
