Cathodic Indirect Oxidation Of Organic Compounds(Ⅱ)——Cathodic Indirect Epoxidation Of Olefine, Xue Ying Zhang, Bao Qiu Cui, Deng Ping Gu, Wei Li

We described a novel cathodic indirect epoxidation system in which O 2 was first cathodically reduced to H 2O 2. Then VO(acac) 2 was oxidized by H 2O 2 homogeneously to VO(acac) 2OOH which was used to epoxidize some olefine such as maleic, fumaric and crotonic acids. Many affecting factors on the current efficiency were optimized. The research will contribute to the developments of organic electrosynthesis.
