This research aims to investigate whether the law as it currently stands in Oman provides adequate legal protection for personal data, to determine the current obstacles facing the electronic commerce sector, and to identify ways of overcoming such challenges. The empirical focus of this study will be electronic commerce transactions between companies and consumers.
