Demand Response Programs have the potential to incentivize users to modify their electricity consumption pattern based on their given price and any bonuses that come along with it. Through the effective utilization of renewable sources and energy storage devices, household electricity bills can be reduced since the consumption of electricity during high price periods can be replaced by either renewable resources or electricity from energy storage devices.
