Nuclear Energy As A Reliable And Safe Source Of Power Generation, Sarup Dhungana May 2022

Nuclear Energy As A Reliable And Safe Source Of Power Generation, Sarup Dhungana

Honors Theses

There is a high demand of energy for generating civil applicable power in the world and in the USA, correspondingly. The world has been consuming various sources to extract the power to meet its demands. Most of the power sources include renewable and non-renewable sources like fossil fuels, natural gas, coal, water, solar, wind, and nuclear power. Although most of these sources have many advantages in terms of their capacity and cost of production, nuclear power can be categorized as the emerging driving force in the United States and in the world for power generation, because of its reliability and …

Calculate The Reliability Of The Bts-Bsc Network With The Reserved Line Connection, Dilmurod Davronbekov, Utkir Karimovich Matyokubov Mar 2021

Calculate The Reliability Of The Bts-Bsc Network With The Reserved Line Connection, Dilmurod Davronbekov, Utkir Karimovich Matyokubov

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

The issue of reserving communication lines between the base station and the mobile network base station controller which are considered as one system is considered. Analytical expressions have been developed for calculating the reliability of the system for various options for backing up communication lines between the base station and the base station controller. The results of research and calculations of reliability for ten different types of backup communication lines of the base station and the base station controller are presented.

Static Characteristics Of Thermal Humidity Converters Of Liquid Materials In Continuous Flow, N.I. Avezova, P.R. Ismatullaev, Paraxat Matyakubova Aug 2020

Static Characteristics Of Thermal Humidity Converters Of Liquid Materials In Continuous Flow, N.I. Avezova, P.R. Ismatullaev, Paraxat Matyakubova

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

Thermal systems with distributed heat sources based on a pipeline segment with radial holes are proposed for the development of designs of thermal humidity converters for liquid materials. Across the liquid flow there are tubular arguments with cylindrical heat-sensitive elements, on the surface of which the heating element winding was wound, which significantly increased their sensitivity, speed, reliability and allowed the use of standard semiconductor heat-sensitive elements.

Controlling And Forecasting The Reliability Of Integrated Circuits Of Radio Systems Transmitting Information, Abdulaziz M. Nazarov Prof, Dilmurod A. Davronbekov Prof. Feb 2020

Controlling And Forecasting The Reliability Of Integrated Circuits Of Radio Systems Transmitting Information, Abdulaziz M. Nazarov Prof, Dilmurod A. Davronbekov Prof.

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

The issues of forecasting the reliability of integrated circuits, which are the main element base of modern radio engineering information transmission systems, are considered. Methods of parametric and functional control are described to determine the correspondence of the static and dynamic parameters of microcircuits to the required values. A combined method for determining the operating parameters of microcircuits is also described. The advantage of this method in addition to the two above methods is indicated that it combines the function of controlling the operation of the entire control system. Two approaches for predicting reliability are given, as well as mathematical …

Development Of Metal Matrix Composite Gridlines For Space Photovoltaics, Omar K. Abudayyeh Nov 2016

Development Of Metal Matrix Composite Gridlines For Space Photovoltaics, Omar K. Abudayyeh

Chemical and Biological Engineering ETDs

Space vehicles today are primarily powered by multi-junction photovoltaic cells due to their high efficiency and high radiation hardness in the space environment. While multi-junction solar cells provide high efficiency, microcracks develop in the crystalline semiconductor due to a variety of reasons, including: growth defects, film stress due to lattice constant mismatch, and external mechanical stresses introduced during shipping, installation, and operation. These microcracks have the tendency to propagate through the different layers of the semiconductor reaching the metal gridlines of the cell, resulting in electrically isolated areas from the busbar region, ultimately lowering the power output of the cell …
