Development Of A Real-Time Single-Lead Single-Beat Frequency-Independent Myocardial Infarction Detector, Harold Martin

FIU Electronic Theses and Dissertations

The central aim of this research is the development and deployment of a novel multilayer machine learning design with unique application for the diagnosis of myocardial infarctions (MIs) from individual heartbeats of single-lead electrocardiograms (EKGs) irrespective of their sampling frequencies over a given range. To the best of our knowledge, this design is the first to attempt inter-patient myocardial infarction detection from individual heartbeats of single-lead (lead II) electrocardiograms that achieves high accuracy and near real-time diagnosis. The processing time of 300 milliseconds to a diagnosis is just at the time range in between extremely fast heartbeats of around 300 …

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: To improve the reality of river visual in inland river ship simulator, a method of rendering large scale river which could be applied for inland river ship simulator was proposed. The river flowing field was built though the conception of stream function, and the algorithm of Poisson disk sampling was used to control the distribution of river flowing field. This could balance the relationship between efficiency and effect of river surface. The parallelism and programmability of GPU was adopt to render river surface. The results show the river flowing field generated by algorithm of stream function can reflect …

Arm-Based Real-Time Video Stabilization Enhancement Algorithm, Xiaoquan Chen, Zhang Lei, Huang Hua Aug 2020

Arm-Based Real-Time Video Stabilization Enhancement Algorithm, Xiaoquan Chen, Zhang Lei, Huang Hua

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: Considering the performance characteristic of ARM processor, an ARM-based real-time video stabilization enhancement algorithm was proposed that identified shakiness of video and implements motion smoothing in the space of geometric transformations. The algorithm identified the shakiness of video with the amplitudes’ change of translation and rotation. Then the optimal path could be obtained by linear interpolation on translational vector and rotational angle. Stable frames were generated by implementing motion compensation of translation and rotation transformations respectively. Because the algorithm used linear interpolation in the space of rigid transformations, it was much faster than the previous algorithms. Moreover, it …

Journal of System Simulation

Abstract: Against the problem of dynamic routing in network Hardware-In-The-Loop Simulation, on the basis of analysis of network HITL simulation principle, a dynamic routing protocol implementation scheme based on OMNeT++ was proposed. A method of routing message transform and a algorithm of time slice synchronize was proposed, overcoming the problem of routing message transform and system real-time. At the same time, using virtual IP technology for multi-host configuration, and OSPF dynamic routing protocol, the Hardware-In-the-Loop Simulation Dynamic Routing Protocol based on OMNeT++ was realized. The dynamic routing protocol with multi scenarios was verified and tested.
