The purpose of this study was to determine teachers’ opinions about (1) the relative educational value of the materials brought to school by intermediate grade pupils, (2) teachers’ attitudes toward the bringing of these materials, (3) the comparative value of these materials in terms of behavioral changes in pupils, and (4) the value of using pupils as a source of audio-visual materials.

It is the purpose of this study to determine the reactions of Yakima elementary educators toward television as an aid to instruction. This shall be determined relative to (1) the attitude of those educators toward educational television in general and (2) the opinions of those educators relative to how television may best be used as an instrument of classroom instruction.
