The Impact Of Effective Motivation Strategies On Student Engagement In Secondary Physical Education Classrooms, Devin Wortman
Education Theses
Properly motivating students is not only the backbone of academic success but positive in-class experiences. When students are having more positive classroom experiences, they will ultimately be more motivated to engage and succeed. The Effectiveness Of Using Increased Increment Track And Field Scoring Tables With Female University Physical Education Students, Douglas Coghlan
Masters Theses & Specialist Projects
There were two purposes involved in this study. The first objective was to construct increased increment scoring tables for selected track and field events based on the achievement of female physical education students at Rhodes University, South Africa, using the initial performances recorded by the students in each event during the years 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1964, 1965 and 1966. Secondly, the tables were used to test the effectiveness of the increased increment principle in predicting the improvement of the students in subsequent trials during the same period.

Masters Theses & Specialist Projects
The problems of this work involve four chief divisions. Here they are treated in general, with an elaboration of each in the section devoted to "scope of the study." The four separate problems are as follows:

- What particular differences are disclosed by the English and educational placement tests?
- What light do the academic achievement records cast on the differences of the two groups.
- What differences do certain auxiliary factors establish between the athlete and non-athlete?
