With homelessness on the rise, I wanted to examine how much this population knew about common diseases within their own community. Providing this information will help not only the homeless population, but our nation as a whole to better protect ourselves from communicable diseases. Each of 10 homeless people were given a pre and post test after having information about Hepatitis and MRSA for 24 hours. The results were clear, that everyone did better on the post test. Background:
The CDC research actively continues gathering information related to short and long-term symptoms that remain following the acute phase of Covid-19 diagnosis (CDC, 2020).
Fatigue and shortness of breath are listed among the most commonly reported long-term symptoms of Covid-19:
- Fatigue
- Shortness of Breath
- Cough
- Joint Pain
- Chest Pain (CDC, 2020).
Evidence suggests that older adults over the age of 60 who have multiple comorbidities are more susceptible and are at a higher risk of contracting the Covid-19 virus thus potentially prolonging recovery time post diagnosis (Greenhalgh, Knight, A’Court, Buxton, & Husain, 2020).

This presentation will explain the historical development of pornography. It will highlight four segments: 1- Porn’s impact on brain development of reward pathways, ultimately increasing the appetite for more porn. 2- Porn can be a false substitute for real intimacy, resulting in decreased sexual satisfaction with a real person and increased verbal and physical aggression. 3- Porn promotes sex trafficking, promotes multiple sex partners and reduced STD prevention. 4- A review of interventions available to assist clients in navigating a lifestyle away from pornography.
