This action research was motivated by the researcher's own classroom observations of student behavior and social interactions as well as an interest in how social stories have been proven to help individual students in social situations. Having had individual students who benefitted from social stories, the researcher's interest grew; the researcher wondered if this same process could be used with an entire class.
