The purpose of this applied research study was to solve the problem of classroom behavior for Black male students at Homestead Elementary School and to formulate a solution to address the problem. A multi-method design was used, consisting of both qualitative and quantitative approaches. The first approach was semi-structured interviews with administrators. The second approach was to survey with teachers. The third approach was archival data using referral data from Homestead Elementary school. The sample size was 23 Duval County district employees.
