Research has demonstrated that the population of students diagnosed with Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD) has not demonstrated noticeably improved long-term academic and social outcomes in at least the last 20 years. The research questions that are addressed in this capstone project are: What are the limitations of interventions-focused case studies in the practical increase of positive outcomes for students at risk for or diagnosed with Emotional or Behavioral Disorders at the secondary level?
