The purpose of this study was to identify commonalities or differences between teacher and student perceptions of digital citizenship, defined by the norms of behavior with regard to technology use. The study was conducted with online, secondary students and teachers from the same population using the DCS (Digital Citizenship Scale) instrument created by Choi, Glassman, and Cristol (2017). The study addressed the problem of inconsistent digital skills among online, secondary students and teachers by gathering data about areas where deficiencies may exist for both teachers and students in the same population. The purpose of this qualitative case study was to describe how iPads may be used to develop phonemic awareness as part of emergent literacy skills acquisition for six preschool students at Little Lambs Christian Preschool (pseudonym) in central Tennessee. Many rural elementary school students and teachers have experienced challenges related to Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) into the classroom. The purpose of this qualitative case study was to understand how teachers at a rural elementary school in the Southeastern United States implemented BYOT within an educational setting. The purpose of this transcendental phenomenological study was to understand the navigation of personal and professional social media practices as a lived experience for post-secondary education instructors in higher education. Correspondent inference theory was used to understand how observers assess behaviors that correspond with their own actions. The central research question focused on the lived experiences of post-secondary education instructors who utilized social media personally and professionally.
