The homelife of an adolescent has a profound impact on their ability to find success in school. Students who come from a family that is made up of a single parent, divorced parents, homelessness, and some other non-traditional family configurations are more likely to be unsuccessful in school and develop unwanted psychological adjustments. This research explores how a student’s homelife affects their success in school from the views of both a traditional and non-traditional family type.
