The present study aimed at exploring the effect of Thomas and Robinson strategy (PQ4R) on the acquisition of physical concepts and self-efficacy level of 11th grade students. The sample of the study consisted of 40 students in grade 11, in Irbid, who were randomly distributed into two groups. The control group consisted of 20 students and studied physics textbook using the conventional strategy; whereas, the experimental group consisted of 20 students and studied physics textbook using the Thomas and Robinson strategy (PQ4R).
