Agricultural Education: Graduate Internship Reports

This internship report includes validation documents required in meeting the quality criteria for secondary-level programs of instruction in agriculture. The documents are used during the review process conducted by subject matter experts from the California Department of Education. The internship included the documentation to receive state/local funding, the development of a welding and fabrication facility, floral design classroom, and wood shop facility to accommodate student SAE projects, and to support instruction.

The documents are concurrently used for the review process at Esparto High School conducted by experts from the California Department of Education. The internship included the development of a comprehensive program plan for Esparto High School. The plan includes information to receive state/local funding, outline the goals and objectives of the program, along with an overview of Esparto High School, the agriculture program and community.

Give a Dog Your Heart: Love will Come Your Way is a children’s book that is meant to help children cope with the loss of a pet. The purpose of this study is to take into account all of the design and publishing possibilities for this project. It addresses typography, illustration, and use of color that is appropriate for children.

In 2001, the ACM and IEEE Computing Curriculum stated that it was necessary to address "the need to develop implementation models that are international in scope and could be practiced in universities around the world."
