The increasing importance of graduate degrees and need for graduate tuition revenue are compelling university leaders to pay increased attention to graduate enrollment issues. This roundtable will explore how to measure graduate degree retention and completion. With a lack of external requirements to report graduate degree completion rates, institutions often don’t track them. Those that do must decide how to handle students matriculating at different times of the year, part time v. full time enrollment, combined degree students, and other scenarios inherent in graduate education.
