Teachers have many instructional, behavioral and classroom management, and administrative responsibilities (Cormier et al., 2021; Hilger et al., 2021; Roeser et al., 2022). There is limited research on occupational therapy's role in teacher wellness. This study aimed to assess the challenges and barriers that Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) teachers face, the causes of burnout, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on AAPI teachers' wellness. This study used a mixed methods research design, including an online survey and semi-structured interviews, focused on the challenges, barriers, strengths, and needs that AAPI teachers face in public, middle, and high schools …

The Progressive Study Club, part of the Third District of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Kansas, was organized in 1949. The goal of the club, as stated in its constitution, is to “promote civic, social, philanthropic, cultural, and educational movements, and thereby gain more knowledge.” The club, comprised of only women, would meet regularly and take on special projects. The 2022 Great Expectations Spring Faculty Conference featured a talk about renewal in file drawers facilitated by Alison Prindle (Professor Emerita of English, INST Chair 1987-1994) and Beth Daugherty (Professor Emerita of English, INST Chair 1994-2000).
After the talk, various groups and departments offered programs that talked about the experiences of the groups, the use of Open Education Resources, and integrating ecological knowledge into the curriculum. The day finished out with a discussion of the 2022-2023 common book, What The Eyes Don't See by Mona Hanna-Attisha.

This is a poster presentation on an education and training program, created for a capstone project. The program, Coaching Critical Moments (CCM), is designed to provide occupation-based coaching education through learning modules and training through simulation. The poster highlights the background literature about occupation-based coaching in occupational therapy, the problem and purpose statements for the capstone project, the methodology for creating the program, the theoretical foundation for the project, the contents of the program, and a discussion.

A native of Michigan, Dr. Gene Vollen (1933-) attended Michigan State University, where he earned degrees in music education and theory/composition. His doctoral studies were completed in 1970 at North Texas State University, focusing on musicology with a minor in composition. Listed among his academic honors is a Fulbright Fellowship to the Sorbonne in 1965-66.

Margaret Thuenemann (1919-2002) was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended the Cincinnati public schools, graduating from West Night High School. She went on to study music at the Cincinnati College of Music. There, she received her Bachelor of Degree in 1946, and later the Post-Graduate Diploma and the prestigious Springer Gold Medal of Honor for outstanding achievement in voice. This collection includes essays, short stories, notes, and tests results, apparently taken while a student at State Manual Training Normal School in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Dorothy Ann (Hicks) Poole was born in 1894. She married William Harvey Poole (b. 1892 - d. 1980) in 1916 in Columbus, Kansas. They had one son. Dorothy attended the State Manual Training Normal School (now Pittsburg State University) around 1924. William worked in the oil business and also served as the mayor of Galena, Kansas. Dorothy Poole passed away in 1982.

Dr. Samuel B. Muller was born in 1905 in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1932, Dr. Muller received his Bachelors of Science, and in 1934, a Doctor in Medicine from the University of Kansas. In 1934 he married Cordelia White. He practiced medicine in Southeast Kansas following the marriage. In 1941, Dr. Muller began working at the Royal Oak Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. The University of Maine saw approximately 1,000 students and alumni serve in World War I and 3,900 serve in World War II. Both wars had a strong effect on the university and its students; the desire to honor those who had served and to memorialize those who had died led to various activities on campus. After the end of World War I, funds were raised to erect the Memorial Gymnasium and Armory and after World War II, those who had died were honored in a volume titled "University of Maine, World War II: In Memoriam." James Norris Hart was dean emeritus of the University of Maine and professor emeritus of mathematics and astronomy. He was born in Willimantic, Maine, in 1861 and died in 1959. He received a B.C.E. degree from the Maine State College in 1885 and a C.E. in 1890. In 1897 he earned a M.S. degree from the University of Chicago.
Hart was an instructor in mathematics at the University of Maine starting in 1887 and dean of the University in 1903. Hart was awarded for his service to the University of Maine with a degree of doctor of science in 1908. …

In February 2020, CCT College Dublin convened the Monitoring and Review Team (MRT), to identify risk and mitigating actions required to ensure the continuity of programme delivery and supports to learners during the COVID-19 Pandemic in the event of potential campus closure. The team investigated good practice in online teaching, learning and assessment, regulatory frameworks and practices, technology supports, and human resources required to proactively support any potential shift to online delivery and supports.
