This article aims to define the methodological basis of the formation of professional competence in teacher in the process of professional practice, to define the essence of the concept of “professional practice” and to improve its theoretical model. The study resulted in the development of a ʻmodel for the formation of professional competence of teachers in the process of internshipsʻ.
