Intercultural communication has become very significant due to the increasing contacts between members of different cultures and their impacts on everyday life, business issues. From this point of view, this article deals with textual and contextual analysis of lacuna and its usage for the field of intercultural communication as well as analyzes lacunarity as a phenomenon of lexical system, and provides comparative analysis of inter lingual lacunas.
