Daily structured physical education programming should be protected to support the achievement of goals set within an individual education plan (IEP) for students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). To ensure this is a priority, parent satisfaction is necessary to prioritize a healthy partnership between home and school. This study examined what factors influence stress experienced by siblings of children with disabilities. This study investigated facial expressions of children between the ages of 10 and 15 years with Down Syndrome (experimental group) and compared them to typically developing children (control group). Elicitation of facial expressions was carried out through showings of video clips. Trained observers were used to code expressions of happiness, anger, and disgust from video recordings that were made of the children’s reactions while they watched the video clips.

Problem

Television plays an important role in the lives of children. The objective of this study was to compare religiously oriented and non- religiously oriented children and the patterns of television viewing habits between these two groups.

Method

The analysis of variance was used to measure the hypotheses. A questionnaire completed by 378 subjects in grades 3, 6, 9, and 12 in private and public schools was used to gather the data for this study.
