This study aimed at investigating the status quo of principals' practices of evaluating the performance of teachers in Jordanian secondary schools from the point of view of the principals themselves. To achieve this goal, the survey method was used. The sample consisted of 567 male/female principals in Jordanian secondary schools. To answer the study questions, means, standard deviations and t-test were calculated for independent samples. The results were as follows:
- The average of principals' practices of evaluating teachers' performance in Jordanian secondary schools was (3.82), and with a standard deviation of (0.44) and a high degree of use.
