Abstract:

The objective of the study was to identify emotional intelligence level among basic school principals at Irbid governorate and its relationship with their leadership performance from teachers’ point of view. The population of the study included all basic school teachers at Irbid governorate. The instrument of the study was developed and included two sections: The first was (37) items to measure emotional intelligence level, while the second was (24) items to measure leadership performance.
