Abstract:
This study aimed at investigating the effect of the guided imagination strategy on the development of listening comprehension among grade six femAle students in Jordan. The sample of the study consisted of (40) students, which had been distributed into two groups, one experimentAl and one control group. A pre- listening comprehension test was applied to both groups. The experimentAl group were taught for a period of (40) day using the guided imagination strategy while applying activities and following a teacher's guide previously prepared by the researchers for the implementation of the strategy.
